Not a native speaker, it is quite hard to figure out "Having p.p"
Here "Having known that .....mistake" the phrases mean "Because I knew that.."
OR
"Although I knew that..."
I think it depends on who that the her is.
If the her is not my sister, the "Because..." is correct.
Can the "Having p.p" expression have the meaning of although?
