Having created - tense

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to check which tense aspect is 'having won' in the following sentence. Is it just a present participle?

Prior to the exhibition and never having won a prize, Julie was nicely surprised.

Thanks,

Cup cake having won It's not a tense because it has an -ing verb without an auxiliary. It's a non-finite (tenseless) verb form, specifically a participle. winning is the present participle.
