HAVING CONSIDERED - Is it -ing or -ed type of non-finite verb phrase?

My teacher said it was -ed type, because the type is determined by the main (lexical) verb, not by the auxiliary, but somehow I find it hard to believe her Emotion: smile

InchoateknowledgeAfter having considered all the details is an -ing clause, and the VP is an -ing one.
I agree, you could say it's equivalent with:

After considering all the details
but you couldn't say its equivalent with
After consider
