Having been lost / lost

Lost on/in the street, the little girl was crying bitterly.

Hello,
Can I also say [having been lost] instead of [lost]?

Thank you
(I have asked this question in WR forum and two native English speakers have answered it but I have not understood their answers very well. I wish you could give me some clarification so that I can understand it. Thank you)

I found the answer of my question. Lost on the street = The girl is lost at the same time she is crying. Having been lost on the street = She was lost earlier, but she has been found; nevertheless, she is crying.
