Having been doing

This is "Grammar and Vocabulary CAE" book.

The key suggests that "having been doing" is the correct answer? But why? I say it should be "do".

What is "having been doing" passive present participle?

Let's wait until I get my head back on straight after reading that. OK. I can't read the whole thing, but it looks to me like your question is about "I would rather having been doing".

  • If the answer key says that's right, then it's wrong.
  • It should be "I would rather be doing" or "I would rather have done", depending which tense you want.
