Having

Hello,

1.An electric circuit in which three resistors having resistances R1,
R2 and R3, respectively, are joined end to end. Here the resistors are said
to be connected in series.

I always get confused with the usage of "having".

The structure of the sentence is not clear to me with "having" clause.

Could anyone here explain this to me?

Thanks.
