Having

HI,

I was scared in asking her. - this sounds incorrect.

What about:

I was tentative with asking her. - can this be used?

Also:

Having to have to change the car tires everyday really sucks

I've heard it used more than once( having to have to) Is it grammatically incorrect or just sounds weird?

Thanks a bunch!
