Havin trouble with the word REFLECTION

Is the word reflection followed by IN/ON/ OFF?

  • I saw his reflection on/in/off the steel wall as he was approaching me from behind. (or would you use SHADOW,)

  • I saw the relection of the water on/off/in his face, shimmering in the sun, as he stood at the edge/on the edhge of the pool. (what I'm trying to say is that when you looked at his face you could see the water shake slightly because of the sun)
