Haven't found time

Hi,

When we ask someone whether he/she has done sth we wanted him/her to do, what would he/she say in answer?

Is it correct to say " I haven't found time to do it".

I'm sure that there are better answers.I would warmly appreciate anyone who could help me.

Regards

Iman

- - You could certainly say this if the other person had asked you to do something as a favor . If it was your boss who asked you to do some work, however, this might be considered facetious or lackadaisical. A serious, sincere response in that case will require an apology and some explanation of exactly why you were unable to complete the task: ' I'm sorry, but I have run into difficulties with Project B, and haven't yet been able to finish your assignment yet.
