Have/hsa

Which animals have/has the poet talked about in the poem?

I don't know why I feel the correct helping verb here is 'has' but the book were I saw the sentence says that 'have' is the correct helping verb there.

Please somebody tell me which one is correct?

The book is spouting nonsense.

It's a question. That means the subject and verb are inverted. The verb comes first. The subject "poet" is singular, so "has" is the correct answer.
