The meaning is not exactly the same.

In 1 the food is typically nearby and easily available, and you want to eat. This sentence is a near equivalent to "Let's eat".

In 2 you focus on doing something to obtain the food. It could be going to a restaurant; it could be going to a supermarket to buy something; or it could be as simple as going to the refrigerator in your own home to get things to eat.

"grab" is closer to "get" than to "have".
