Have you gotten? Or 'Have you got'?

Hi, Both of them are correct. "got" is the past and past participle form(British English) of "get" and "gotten" is only the past participle form of "get" in American English. Cheers, Iman

Both of them are correct. "got" is the past and past participle form(British English) of "get" and "gotten" is only the past participle form of "get" in American English.

Generally speaking, "gotten" is not used in British English.

In American English, "Have you got X?" would normally be understood to mean "Do you have X?", whereas "Have you gotten X?" would be taken to mean "Have you obtained/gained/received/bought X?"
