Have you ever been

Have you ever been to the other side of town? My friend asks me, because she's been there and I say:

When have you been there?

ARe both useable and carry the same meaning?

Which is correct way to say it if she was there recently?

I think I'd probably say

When were you last there?
or
Have you been there recently?
or
Did you go there recently?
