Grammar

Have vs had

My boss corrected my grammar when I wrote sentence A. He changed the "have lined up" to "had lined up". Can anyone please tell me what english grammar did I violate. And what is the difference in meaning of the two sentences. Thank you in advance.

A. Ministry of Environment Information Officer Wayne enumerated the activities they have lined up in celebration of the National Environment Month this coming October.

B. Ministry of Environment Information Officer Wayne enumerated the activities they had lined up in celebration of the National Environment Month this coming October.

Both are good.

It's just a little better if you match the tenses.

enumerated ... have ... = past ... present ... don't match.

enumerated ... had ... = past ... past ... match.

However, I think 'have' might be better because there's a future reference to 'this coming October'. We don't care so much about the activities they had on their list before. W
