"have to" in progressive tenses?

is it possible to use "have to" in progressive tenses?
i.e.:
This week I am having to work late./This week I have to work late.
She has been having to wear glasses since she was a young child./She has had to wear glasses since she was a young child.

I'd say it's possible, but it can result in some rather bizarre sentences.

... has been having to wear glasses ..., for example, strikes me as a waste of words.
