It is OK for casual usage. But technically, it is not correct. Groups don't have addictions; individuals within the group have the addictions. Groups can have statistical measures, such as the addiction rate.

eg addictions to illegal dugs?
eg addictions to exercising?
eg addictions to using Facebook?

I think we are a little confused. Are you talking about the number of different addictions? For instance, I have three: I'm addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and old black-and-white movies.

I would guess that would be the chronic addicts.
Typically people don't just have one addiction, but several. eg. gambling, tobacco, alcohol, various drugs, and so on.
