Have sth to do versus have to do sth

Hi all,

What's the difference between the two? Is a different aspect being stressed or what do they communicate differently?

I have got homework to do. (I have homework to do.)

I have got to do homework. (I have to do homework.)

or

I have bad news to tell you.

I have to tell you bad news.

Thanks,

Paul
