Have some doubts...

Once again I need some help! It's a simple sentance, but I have some doubts about it.

Popular web site nnnn.com has launched the voting/poll to choose the best pop-singer of the year.

Should I write "A popular web site" or maybe it's better to write "to find out the best pop-singer"...
