Have Only

Hello everyone,

Is the phrase "have only" okay in the following sentence?

1. We have only a little time.

Or must it be as follows?

2. We only have a little time.

From the Cambridge Dictionary:

If the focus is on another part of the sentence [not the subject], we usually put [the adverb] only in the normal mid position for adverbs (between the subject and the main verb, or after the modal verb or first auxiliary verb, or after be as a main verb.
