Have never been to

Hello,

I have a question about the usage of the present perfect in the sentences below:

I am getting off a plane in Paris and I am saying to my friend :
  1. I have never been to France before.
I am sitting in my apartment and I am saying to my friend :

2. I have never been to France...I would love to go there.

Would it be possible to use 'gone' in the above sentences?

In the past :

3. My granddad had never been/gone to France before he was taken there by the army.

4. My granddad never went to France.

5. My granddad was never in France.

(My granddad is still alive):

6. My granddad has never been/gone to France.

Are all these sentences ok?

Thank you for your help.
