Hi,

Have I used the article "the" correctly in this text?

" The study was conducted in a chamber designed for this purpose. It was designed in such a way that the rats would be exposed to artificial light of 300, 5000, and 8000 lux. It should be noted that the natural and the artificial light of the surrounding environment was prevented by covering the chamber."
