Have I used 'offset' naturally?

Have I used 'offset' naturally? Would an English native speaker say the following?
She is good at other things to offset the things she is bad at.

Thanks

What you've written is a conscious plan of hers, although it would be slightly better written with the 'other' moved: She is good at some things to offset (the) other things she is bad at. If, as is most common, it's simply an observation of her balance of qualities, then something like: The things she is good at offset (some of) the things she is bad at. Add 'some of' if they don't completely offset the bad things; omit it if they do.
