Have I spelled this sentence correctly?

Product information, such as product name, price, and details, are, at the moment, stored in a text file, but I'll soon learn how load them into an SQL database.

Information is an uncountable noun, and takes a singular verb.

Say a SQl database, because SQL does not start with a vowel sound.

I agree. I am a native speaker and the sound the letter S makes in words is not pronounced the same way as saying "the letter S," which is pronounced "ehs." It is correct to say "an SQL."
