Have I correctly used ‘stopped under,’ ‘under which,’ and ‘placed / laid’ in the sentence?

Have I correctly used ‘stopped under,’ ‘under which,’ and ‘placed / laid’ in the sentence? The word ‘under’ sounds redundant, but it’s correct, anyway, isn’t it?
