Have I correctly used 'into' in the sentence?
When Philip sang Tom Jones songs, he turned the audience into raving fans.
"he turned the audience into ~" is OK in itself, but "raving fans" sounds odd. I would try to say it a different way, maybe something like "he sent the audience wild".
