Hi Rover Ke.

I heard it on a crime TV show. A detective was interviewing a suspect, who said to the detective that "we have history" I guess he might mean he has history with the victim.

So what does it mean?

Thank you very much.

Hi Rover KE,

What do you mean by 'have encountered' here? Does it mean to meet someone unexpectedly?

Can we use the phrase 'have history' in other situations?

Thank you very much.
