Why? I thought it means she took a look at that white straight woman.

'to have one's sights set on' (note sights, not sight) is an idiom meaning to have an ambition, a goal you are aiming at.

Also, there is a clue in the fact that this is followed by the verb 'seducing' - you can't 'look at' a verb.

Where did you get the idea of a white straight woman?

This is rediculous I have no idea, I guess I just had a strong vision of a blond sitting next to the bar waiting to be seduced.
