Have, Has or Had

Question

I am very confused when I have to use Has, Have or Had in a sentence. Can you please correct my sentences if there is anything wrong with it. Thank you.

1. Have you eaten?, They have seen the movie. I have a cat. A person have feelings and emotion. If you have been honest all this time this would not happen. They have confessed.

2. She has a dog. Everyone has their own opinion. Adam loves to draw, he has an amazing talent.

3. She had a fever, that was why she did not come yesterday.
I was poor and I had no money.

The verb should be singular because the subject is singular.

This is a special kind of conditional sentence called the third conditional. The if-clause uses had (past perfect), and the main clause uses have (present perfect). You can learn more about conditionals at the website below.

Other than those two errors, you seem to have a pretty good grasp on the proper use of the verbs. However, your sentences have a couple of other errors.

Two complete sentences can't be joined together by a comma alone. You need proper punctuation or a conjunction.

Adam loves to draw. He has an amazing talent.
She had a fever. That was why she did not come yesterday.
She had a fever; that was why she did not come yesterday.
She did not come yesterday because she had a fever.
