Grammar

have been living / ever

I want to express the following idea.

I was born in 1988 in Colombo city. I lived there from 1988 to 2016 and I am still living there. Does the following sentence express this idea? (I have included the figures just to explain the situation)

I have been living here since I was born.

If the above sentence is grammatically correct and expresses the idea that I needed, what if I add ever to that sentence? Does it still have the same meaning?

I have been living here ever since I was born.

Thank you Emotion: smile
