Have as good as a chance of?

Hello everybody.

‘Well, I think she’s got as good a chance of being happy with him as
with anyone.’ Charlotte shrugged, in her usual down-to-earth way.
‘You’ve got to be practical about it, you know. Marriage is really
about security – happiness is just a matter of luck.’

I'm not sure if I got the point in the bold parts in the above.

She has as good as a chance of being happy with him as with any one means the likelihood of her happiness with him is the same as with any other man, am I right?

And the second bold part means in marriage the most important point is we get sure we'll have a secure life but happiness depends on how lucky we are, am I right?
