HAVE an erection & GOT an erection

Is there any difference between "to have an erection" and "to get an erection"?

If so, when should I use each of them?

Would you please give me a few examples?

Thank you

These are often interchangeable, for example:

"I'm 71, and I no longer can get/have an er______ ."

At a singles bar:

A: "Hey, big boy."

B: "Hey."

A: "So how old are you anyway?"

B: "71."

A: "Wow, that's ancient. I'm 23. So, grandpa, can you still get/have an er_______ ."
