What is difference between to have and to eat?

you can HAVE a lot of things, of which food is only one, you can have a pie or a car and one would mean you ATE the pie, but the other would just mean that you possess or own the car the use of eat is narrower - usually related to food, you dont ususally eat a car .. though sometimes eat is used in a sexual way indeed, "have" can be used to denote sexual congress too - as can possess ... hmmm!

What I meant was, for example(I ate my lunch) (I had my lunch)
I guess we use have because it can be included drinks but for eat it cannot
Am are right?
