It is Friday at 12:00 pm. I say to Mr. xyz: "Have a nice weekend!" before I end the call with him (and see him again next Monday).
Is it odd to say that at that time?

It is Friday at noon.
It is Friday noon.

Both of those are OK.
Whether you say it at noon or at midnight, 'Have a nice weekend' is fine.
