have a good memory of someone

Hello
Can you please help?
Is this idiomatic natural?
You have a good memory of your mother even though she's past. I on the other hand never see her and we don't get along.

thanks in advance

I'm afraid it's neither natural nor idiomatic and it's not clear what you mean. Is his mother dead? If so, the second sentence doesn't make sense.

  • Come to think of it, even if she's still alive it still doesn't.

Here is names so it understandable maybe
Martha has a good memory of her mother (who has passed) John on the other had doesn't see his mom often nor does he get along with her. At least Martha has a good memory of her mother, whereas John never sees his mother.

Ahh! That explains it — it's clear now.

Change your original sentence to

You have good memories of your mother even though she has passed. I on the other hand never see mine and we don't get along.
