The difference is a time reference.

With I've lost my keys, the speaker still does not know where his/her keys are. The emphasis is on the present absence of the keys.
With I lost my keys, the emphasis is only on the past losing. We don't know whether the speaker found them later.

You can add adverbs of past time to "I lost my keys".
These are correct:

I lost my keys yesterday.
I lost my keys three days ago.
I lost my keys six months ago.
I lost my keys that day.

You cannot add those to "I have lost my keys".
