Hate or hating

Hi everyone!

I know that "hate" can't be used in progressive times (i mean this verb has't got -ing form) and i know that "hate" can be either a noun or a verb depending on a context. But can this word be a gerund? And if it can which is sentence correct:

I'm in a process of hate something.

I'm in a process of hating something.
