Has what?

Hi, Forum Gurus and members!

*************

One of the major ways the ego defends against guilt is to attack other people, and that is what our anger always seems to do: justify the projection of our guilt onto others. It is extremely important to recognize just how strong an investment the world has, and each of us has as part of the world, in justifying the fact that we are angry, because we all need to have an enemy.

There is no one in this world who on some level or another does not invest the world with properties of good and bad. And we separate the world and put some people in the good category and some in the bad. The purpose of this is our tremendous need to have someone that we can project our guilt onto. We need at least one person, or one idea or group, that we can make into the bad one, into the scapegoat. This is the source of all prejudice and discrimination.

In the underlined part, what should be the object of the verb “has”? Has what as part of the world?
