I speak BrE and have never heard of a fly smacker. Smackers are kisses or currency notes.

I was being jocular à la Professor Fontana; Bob's question about smacking down on flies caused it. Still, I would expect "fly smacker" in some English dialect.
I did see "fly-flap" in my Langenscheidts dictionary but never heard of it before. In German, it's "
