Has "Often" always been pronounced with a silet "t" ?
0 I was having a discussion with a friend last night about the word often. I know that we should pronounce it as 'ofen' 01 i 00 without 02 i 00 pronouncing the 't', however I am wondering if it has always been pronounced like this or is this just another englih word that we have butchered over the years? 02 br
