Information has/have increased...?

Sheep has/have died...?

Data has/have revealed...?

Her jewelry has/have...?

What are the rules for these situations?

There are two kinds of nouns: countable (one apples, two apples) and uncountable (sugar, water, beauty). You cannot put a number before uncountable nouns because you can't count them. Many nouns can be both (one application; much dedicated application).
