Please I asked this question earliar but I dint get the exact outcome from it. Means I am still in confusion which one is correct.

People is a collective noun . If I use it in a sentece should I use Has with it or Have

Please help me out

Hi,

Use 'have'. eg In Canada, people usually have a telephone.

Hi Himadri

Let me try to make it clearer to you. We say "one person" and the plural is "two people, three people, etc". We say "one dog" and the plural is "two dogs, three dogs, etc". Based on the above, we would say "There are two dogs" and "There are two people."
