has or does?

Hi , I'm an English student from Chile; this is my third year studying.

I have some questions like this : Would you use has or does in the following sentence?

My father has a good salary , and so has/does my mother.

What should I choose? Has or does?

Thanks for helping me!

Greetings!Emotion: smile

I agree with Feebs. Both sound very natural. Maybe I'd reword it slightly. "My father has a good salary as has/does my mother".

How would you say it in your language?
