"Has made it clear." vs. "Had made it clear."

What should I put in the following sentence in order to make it grammatically correct, "has" or "had"?
The sentence: "DreamHack (the name of the event) has/had made it clear, we have a great team, that needs to keep training."

Thank you.

Thanks! I understood your explanation. Or should I say: "I've understand your explanation."?

Hi,

Thanks! I understood your explanation. Or should I say: "I've understand understood your explanation."?

More natural than either of the above in this instance is 'I understand your explanation'. The past aspect does not really seem relevant here.
