Has had vs has been -ing

Could someone explain to me how and when to use "has/have had" and "has/have been having".

He has had that car for five years.
He has owned it for five years.

He has been having a good time recently.
You cannot own time. Have is used in another idiomatic sense. By the looks of things, his having a good time may continue.
