Has had a chance

Hi

As soon as they have had a chance to review (your support ticket) they will be in touch.

--- I'm wondering why "have had" is used here? I would say "As soon as they have a chance to review they will be in touch".

Newguest I would say "As soon as they have a chance So would most people. After quite a few subordinators of time both the present and the present perfect are possible. The present perfect here gives them a little longer, perhaps, to get a chance to review the situation.
