Has ended her suffering or her suffering has ended

My relative's mother, suffered from cancer, and passed away yesterday.

How should I write "Glad your mother's suffering has ended" OR "Glad your mother has ended her suffering." The sentence is only part of condolences.

Thank you.

Hi Kelly, your question may have a bit to do with culture. No one where I live would use the word glad in a letter of condolence even if the meaning/tone is positive/sympathetic. Let's see what others have to say.

Well, at least she's not suffering with pain anymore.
