Has been/Had been?
Hello Teachers,
I want to know that can we use 'been' with both present and past perfect tenses? Here are the examples:
a) I have been to China. (Present perfect tense)
b) I had been to China. (Past perfect tense)
And the same apply for 'gone'
c) He has gone to China. (Present perfect tense)
d) He had gone to china. (Past perfect tense)
