Has anyone read "The Time Machine&amp" by H.G. Wells? Please HELP!

Has anyone read "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells? If you have, can you help me? I have an essay topic and do not know how to start.

I have two, still haven't decided which is easier. Please recommend!
Essay Topic

1. How does Wells express his concerns for the future of Victorian society through The Time machine?


2. What does Wells see as the greatest threat to human evolution? Support your answer with references to the development of both the Eloi and the Morlocks.

Hello Phu I would say that #2 is easier. #1 seems to require some knowledge of English C19 history, whereas #2 only requires some knowledge of the book. I would start by rereading the passages where the Eloi and the Morlocks appear, and then making a list of what you don't like about them.
