Has and Have doubt.

Hello everyone, i have a doubt with Has and Have. I was talking with a friend and suddenly he told me something that happened to him, then i ask him WHAT HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU? referring to what was the thing that happened to him, and i don't really understand why he corrects me telling me that it is write like: WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?. I was using present perfect ''Have Happened'' with a first person that's why i put ''Have''. But i still don't get it. Can you help me please?
