Harmful waste

The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are dealt with in three countries.

The three pie charts illustrate several steps Republic of Korea, Sweden ad UK take to treat waste products.

Regarding the way of keeping them underground, UK makes use the most of it, with 82% of the products are disposed of by this way, which is the highest percentage, while Sweden uses it for 55% waste products, followed by 22% in Republic of Korea. On the contrary, the third country recycles dumped products the most which are 69%, yet only 25% of them are recycled in Sweden. The UK is the only one that does not obtain recycling for waste.

However, Sweden prefers incineration to recycling which 20% of the waste products are dispensed with by this measure. The respective percentages in Republic of Koreas and the UK are considerably low, only 9% and 2%. On the other hand, the UK applies 2 ways for harmful waste treatment that the rest do not, which are chemical treatment and dumping at the sea. Both share an equal proportion, which is 8%.

Overall, the UK seems to be the leader at keeping dumped products underground and it also applies the most various measures to treat them, while the two countries just use three of them.
